Sail Makers to the World
Lee Sails has been thriving on the belief that those qualities which make a good sail maker will also make a good sail. The sail represents the spirit of enterprise that dares to adventure into open sea. It also stands for vast experience, and resourcefulness combining the use of modern technologies.
These same qualities of enterprise, experience and resourcefulness have also guided us, Hong Kong ’s first sail makers, to employ polyester sailcloth (Dacron TM.). Today with Lee Sails serving thousands of contented customers on every seaway, we feel even more confident providing prompt and reliable service which has become enhanced with the proven elements of success.

Something unique?
We realize that not many of you sail around in 3-masters built 100 years ago, the likes of the Christian Radich, the Norwegian training ship. But when the Radich decided to renew her complete sail inventory of 14,480 sq. ft, we were selected to do it.
So were other tall ships like the American Rover, the Sorlandet, the Statsraad Lehmkuhl, the Te Quest, the Unicorn, etc. In fact, it’s the adaptability and versatility that have made Lee Sails a truly international sail maker. Be it a fleet of Lasers or a renowned Beneteau 51, you’ll find Lee Sails on board.
We also offer sail covers, dousing sock, windsails, marine signal flags, etc.

What happens when you order a Lee Sails?
Once you give the green light to proceed, your detailed specs are immediately communicated to the production loft. Having been in business for over 50 years, chances are good that we’ve made a sail for your design of yacht. If we haven’t we will use our experience and our computer-aided design service to produce a sail that fits and performs well on your vessel to your specific requirement.
Once finished, we hoist the sail on the test spars at our loft and give it a complete and thorough inspection. Designed, manufactured and inspected, it comes back to you complete. Sail numbers, insignia, fiberglass battens and sailbag are all included.
And you’ve just bought yourself a sail that is carefully designed, well crafted,
with a price tag that is the envy of the competition.
